The sessions for the album began a month ago at Red Door Studios in Melbourne with production from Paul ‘Woody’ Annison, who also produced some of the tracks on ‘Theory of Everything’.

The beauty of working in our own backyard with Woody, is that we can re-appropriate each take as we mutually see fit. Each song is being given the chance to breathe as we go, and grow organically. This is a very refreshing approach for us to take,” bass player Heath Crawley wrote in a Facebook update.

The album will be released in early 2012.

Upcoming Children Collide dates are:

December 31, Geraldton, L’Attitude 28
January 6, Canberra, Summernats
March 11, Launceston, Breath of Life Festival
