Chris Cornell Has 13 Albums In Top 100 In Australia

The death of Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell has prompted a resurgence in music sales for his various bands and solo works.

Cornell’s music takes up 13% of the Top 100 albums in Australia this week with additional solo and Soundgarden scattered below the 100.

As well as Soundgarden, Chris Cornell was the lead singer of Audioslave. He also recorded the one off Temple of the Dog project in 1990 with members of Pearl Jam as a tribute to Andrew Wood of Mother Love Bone.

Cornell albums collectively sold 9520 copies in the past week in Australia making him the second biggest selling act of the week after Ed Sheeran.
