The entire output of the supergroup Cream will be compiled in a new vinyl box set Cream: 1966 – 1972. The set is due in November.

Included is the band’s six studio and live albums released over the six years they were together and shortly after their breakup. The group was formed in 1966 by Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker and Eric Clapton, all veterans of the British blues-rock scene. Late that year, they released their debut album, Fresh Cream, which included their first classic tracks I Feel Free, I’m So Glad and, on the U.K. release, Spoonful.

The followed with a studio album each year through 1969. 1967 brought Disraeli Gears with their signature hit, Sunshine of My Love along with Strange Brew and Tales of Brave Ulysses, and, in 1968, the double album Wheels of Fire which contained a studio album with White Room, Sitting on Top of the World and Politician and a live album featuring Crossroads and the U.S. debut of Spoonful.

Their final studio album came in 1969 after they announced that they would be splitting up. Goodbye included three studio songs, including their final hit, Badge, and three live tracks.

Post-breakup and final tour, the band released two live albums, 1970’s Live Cream and 1972’s Live Cream Volume II. Both were compiled from shows performed during 1967 and 1968. The first album also included a previously unreleased song, Lawdy Mama, from the Disraeli Gears era.
