Blur’s Damon Albarn has composed the score for the music ‘wonder.land’, based on Lewis Carroll’s iconic story Alice In Wonderland.
‘wonder.land’ is a new telling of the classic tale created for the online generation with video projections, lighting, stunning sets and Albarn’s music.
It tells the story of Aly who struggles with the pressures of being a teenager continually internally questioning her family, friends and school. Aly discovers ‘wonder.land’, an online world that becomes her looking glass.
‘wonder.land’ has been commissioned for the Manchester International Festival with performances at the Oliver Theatre through-out April.
