David Crosby Has A War Of Words With Nutter Ted Nugent

As if we didn’t have to worry about the Middle East and North Korea going ballistic, now we have the war between David Crosby and Ted Nugent.

It all started on Thursday when President Trump had Ted Nugent, Kid Rock and Sarah Palin over for dinner at the White House including a number of photo ops that quickly made their way to social media.

David Crosby, long an outspoken liberal, wasn’t impressed in the least, commenting “this picture says it all…the two most insincere smiles in history what a pair of snakes” next to a picture of Nugent and Trump shaking hands.

According to Rolling Stone, Nugent wasn’t aware of the comments until he appeared on the Rita Crosby show on New York’s WABC radio. He responded:

David Crosby, he’s kind of a lost soul, and he’s done so much substance abuse throughout his life that his logic meter is gone. His reasoning and his depth of understanding is pretty much gone, so it doesn’t surprise me, I feel quite sad for the guy.

[It’s like] the hate from dopers out there, if you smoke enough dope, you just become overwhelmed with hate and ignorance.

I’ll never forget when Paul McCartney condemned me for murdering innocent animals because we eat venison,” Nugent added. “And I just responded by saying, you know, I don’t really care what you eat, I’d just like to thank Paul McCartney for enriching our lives with his amazing music.

Crosby was soon back with another evaluation of Nugent in response to his comments on WABC, saying “Nugent is a brainless twit ….I can out think him without even trying hard”.

Which sends the ball back to Nugent’s court which, if history runs true, will be back with another rant.

David Crosby is one of the most in touch with his fan base of any artist, regularly responding to questions on Twitter with subjects ranging from politics to music and beyond. Recent conversations included a long discussion on the place of the blues in popular music and a comment that none of the members of Crosby, Stills & Nash are able to read or write music.
