David Crosby To Speak At SXSW

SXSW has secured David Crosby as a speaker for 2019’s music conference in Austin.

Crosby will be In Conversation with filmmaker Cameron Crowe at the 2019 event at the Austin Convention Center in March.

David Crosby has had a prolific period in recent years. After releasing ‘Croz’ in 2014, his first solo album in 21 years, he quickly followed up with ‘Lighthouse’ (2016), ‘Sky Trails’ (2017) and ‘Here If You Listen’ (2018).

David Crosby and Cameron Crowe will talk about the music industry and culture during their SXSW talk. Crowe recently completed a documentary on Crosby.

Cameron Crowe is an award-winning writer and director whose credits include such films as Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Say Anything…, Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous, and more. His documentary work includes The Union, a making of the Elton John-Leon Russell record of the same name and Pearl Jam Twenty.
