Dead Meadow and Pink Mountaintops Head Around Australia

In very exciting news for fans of dreamy psych-pop, Dead Meadow and The Pink Mountaintops are heading to Australia together.

Dead Meadow began life in Washington, D.C., but moved to Los Angeles where their trippy sounds have been mesmerising audiences for over a decade. Now that original drummer Mark Laughlin is back on the skins, the original trio are heading to Australia for the third time to soak up some minds down under.

If that’s not exciting enough, they’re bringing with them The Pink Mountaintops, who make their Australian debut. Well, kind of. They’re the brainchild of Black Mountain’s Stephen McBean, who has been to Australia with his heavier other band a few times, but to show his softer side, he is bringing this hazy project to our dusty shores.

So I suppose you’re looking for some tour dates? Here you go:

MARCH

30 – Fowlers Live, Adelaide, SA

APRIL

1 – Corner Hotel, Melbourne, VIC
5 – The Zoo, Brisbane, QLD
6 – The Hi Fi Bar, Sydney, NSW
7 – The Bakery, Perth, WA
