Debra Byrne Returns To Memo Music Hall This Week With Dion Hirini

Debra Byrne will return to Memo Music Hall on Friday for her show with Dion Hirini.

New Zealand born, outback Australia raised Dion Hirini has been called “the third sister” after working with Vika and Linda Bull for more than 10 years. He has also worked with Tina Arena, Kasey Chambers and Vanessa Amorosi.

Debra Byrne became a child star in Australia in 1971 with thanks Young Talent Time. She had her first hit in Australia in 1974 with a cover of ‘He’s A Rebel’. In ’74 she also picked up a Logie and the a Queen of Pop Award.

Debra has appeared in ‘Cats’, ‘Les Miserables’ and ‘Sunset Boulevard’. Her 1991 album ‘Caught In the Act’ reached no 2 in 1991. Then in 2006 she revealed all in her autobiography ‘Not Quite Ripe: A Memoir’.

Debra Byrne and Dion Hirini will perform at Memo Music Hall on Friday, 4 October 2019.
