Dido gave birth to her first child back in July and kept it quiet. She named him Stanley.

Eminem feat. Dido had that massive hit ‘Stan’. What Dido hasn’t revealed though is why she named the boy Stanley. Is he named after Eminem’s ‘Stan’?

A lot of us first heard Dido on the Eminem song ‘Stan’. The song is about an obsessed fan who kills himself when his idol won’t write back to him?

Stanley arrived for the 40-year old singer and husband Rohan Gavin at Portland Hospital in London back in July. He was a well kept secret. The couple married last year.

Dido Armstrong made her own name with the release of her debut album ‘No Angels’ in 2001. It won her two Brit Awards and sold 21 million copies worldwide.

The follow-up ‘Life For Rent’ sold 12 millions.

Her older brother Rollo Armstrong is a member of Faithless.
