After years of degrading VHS tapes and bootleg DVDs, fans of Johnny Winter and Dr. John can finally have a pristine copy of their Live in Sweden 1987 on DVD along with CD, vinyl and digital formats.

Recorded live at the famed Sonet Studios in Stockholm, Sweden in January of 1987, this eight-song set with New Orleans Jazz and Zydeco legend Dr. John (aka: Malcolm John Rebennack) features the likes of Sound the Bell, Jumpin Jack Flash, Prodigal Son and Sugar Sweet.

The new release will be out via MVD Entertainment on April 22. Here is a sample from the new set:
