Since the first Noise11.com story just two days ago ‘Dumb Ways To Die’ has clocked up 17,400,482 YouTube views.

The video was uploaded on November 14, 2012.

‘Dumb Ways To Die’ was commissioned by ad agency McCann Group to highlight the dangers of trains and railway lines.

Noise11 revealed this week that the musicians behind the track recorded under the name Tangerine Kitty are Ollie McGill from The Cat Empire (Kitty) and Emily Lubitz from Tinpan Orange (Tangerine).

The video has had over 6 million views in the past 48 hours.
