Ed Sheeran And Jeff Lynne To Play Together At Grammy Awards

Ed Sheeran is “very excited” about his upcoming Grammys performance.

The British musician is up for three awards at the ceremony on Sunday, where he will also be showcasing his talents on stage.

It’s now been revealed the redheaded star will collaborate with some very special guests on the night and he’s just as psyched as his fans.

“If you missed the announcement earlier I’m performing a duet with Jeff Lynne and ELO on Sunday at the grammys, tune in !” he excitedly told his Twitter followers.

“Also doing my own solo performance with Herbie Hancock, @questlove and @JohnMayer in the show. Very excited about that one (sic)”

It’s no surprise the 23-year-old will be working hard before he takes to the stage. And luckily he has plenty of American foodie options to fuel him through the prep.

“Back in the USA. Got a million and 2 rehearsals this week for a million and 3 things, but I just ate a burger so it’s fine (sic),” he joked.

Also performing at the awards is Sam Smith, who has six nominations. Sam calls his fellow Brit “an amazing man”, explaining Ed is who he turns to if he wants advice.

“Me and him just want to chill out together,” he said to British newspaper The Sun.

‘I’m going to go to his house and drink and talk about life. And if we want to write a song then we want to write a song.

“Any collabs I do happen organically. I don’t really like the idea of labels putting people in rooms together.”
