It has never been clear why Kathy Valentine is no longer with the Go-Go’s, but it’s obvious that she is not happy about the situation as the other members are allegedly trying to shut her out of the band financially.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Valentine is suing the other four members, Belinda Carlisle, Jane Wiedlin, Charlotte Caffey and Gina Schock, saying that they are trying to lower her twenty percent share in the band. The complaint was filed on Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court, stating that she is entitled to her full share as a one-fifth owner of the group’s companies, Ladyhead LLC and Smith-Pocket Industries, Inc.

The filing alleges that the four have created GoGoCo Corp and are using their total eighty percent share in the other companies to license Go-Go’s products to the new entity, reducing Valentine’s take from twenty to two percent.
