The collection spanning the first 22 years of Green Day will start with the Green Day debut ‘1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours’ (1990) which was a compilation of the previously released EPs.

The second album ‘Kerplink’ (1992), also released as an indie, featured an early version of ‘Welcome To Paradise’, re-recorded for the next album ‘Dookie’, their breakthrough album.

‘Dookie’ was Green Day’s first album for Warner Music. It sold over 15 million copies around the world.

The box set will also include ‘Insomniac’ (1995), ‘Nimrod’ (1997), ‘Warning’ (2000), ‘American Idiot’ (2004) and ‘21st Century Breakdown’ (2009).

The box set will be released on September 4, just prior to the release of the first of the three new Green Day albums ‘¡Uno!’,’¡Dos!’ and Green Day ‘¡Tré!’.
