Prince protégé Darren Hart aka Harts will tour in support of his new album ‘Smoke Fire Hope Desire’ in September.

‘Smoke Fire Hope Desire’ was recorded at Harts studio in Melbourne. Like his mentor Prince, Harts writes everything and plays all the instruments on the record.

He says he is influenced “a lot of what I was seeing in the world around me – very current day issues, mixed with my own thoughts and challenges in my life” but listening to the album he is obviously influenced by Prince.

Prince heard a younger Harts and flew him from Melbourne to Paisley Park to record. Harts is keeping quiet at this point about how much Prince contributed to this album before his tragic death.

‘Smoke Fire Hope Desire’ will be released on 16 September 2016.

23 – The Workers Club – Geelong
29 – Solbar – Sunshine Coast
