A promoter who handled Roy Orbison tours in the 60’s is taking him out on the road again in the form of a hologram.

“Roy Orbison In Dreams: The Hologram UK Tour” is being put together by U.S. company Base Entertainment and Danny Betesh of the firm Kennedy Street and will play in smaller theaters around the U.K. in April 2018.

The tour includes the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra who is about to release a new album using Orbison vocals and new orchestral arrangements, A Love So Beautiful: Roy Orbison & the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Roy Orbison In Dreams is fully supported by Orbison’s family. Son Alex said “My dad was one of the first people to combine rock and roll with orchestral sound, so to see the full meal deal of having the big orchestra with my dad is really a dream set up.”

The tour is expected to move to other countries after its U.K. run.
