Mraz chose Valentine’s Day to put the word out on the new record, due in April.

Jason describes this record as “It’s personal. It’s melodic. And it’s mellow.” He told Billboard, “There’s a couple of up-tempo tunes, but mostly the rhythm-of-the-heartbeat kind of takes precedence on this record. It feels more like the pace of life. At least, based on my life and what I’ve been doing.”

The first single, “I Won’t Give Up’, has generated around 500,000 sales in the USA to date. His video has had over 8 million views on YouTube.

Jason spent the latter part of 2011 road-testing the songs from the album with one-off shows in North America, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Love Is A Four Letter Word will be released on April 17.
