John Farnham’s Geelong Concert For Today Has Been Cancelled

by Paul Cashmere on March 18, 2018

in News

John Farnham’s Twilight At The Track show in Geelong today has been cancelled.

Farnham was headlining Twilight At The Track with Daryl Braithwaite, The Black Sorrows, Richard Clapton and Taxiride also on the bill.

The event safety officer has said “based on the severe weather conditions recorded on site including wind gusts of over 100 kilometres an hour, the Bureau of Meteorology’s weather warnings and in consultation with event management, we do not deem the event site to be safe for setup and as a result public occupation. The safety of patrons and event staff must always be our greatest priority, and it is with this in mind that this difficult decision has been made.”
