Journey and Asia To Tour USA Together In 2017

by Paul Cashmere on December 7, 2016

in News

December seems to be the month of tour announcements and the latest comes from the combo of Journey and Asia.

Asia’s lead singer, John Wetton, said “Asia is honoured to be asked to share the stage with Journey. On a personal note, this couldn’t have come at a better time for me; I remain determined and my road to a full recovery continues. I look forward to seeing everyone on the tour next year.”

Last year, Wetton announced that he was suffering from cancer.

Both groups are touring on the strength of the respective catalogs. Asia has the newest album of the two with 2014’s Gravitas. Journey’s last studio album was 2011’s Eclipse.

At this point, the tour starts on March 15 and runs through April 4.
