Lil Wayne Cuts Show Short After Hurled Drink

Lil Wayne cut short a gig in Idaho and stormed offstage on Sunday (23Apr17) after an unruly crowd member hurled a drink at the rapper.

Lil Wayne was performing his hit A Milli in Garden City over the weekend when a beer was thrown in his direction.

Wayne wasn’t hit by the missile but appeared to have been splashed by the beverage, and it was enough for the star to call off the rest of the show.

In video footage of the incident, the 34-year-old can be seen turning his head in disgust at the spilt drink, before halting the music.

As the crowd booed, Wayne made it clear he wasn’t going to put up with the bad behaviour or open himself up to a potential lawsuit by retaliating himself, so he called on his security, referred to as his “Goon Squad”, to deal with the issue.

“Now look, let me tell you something,” Wayne said. “I don’t know if you thought I was a buster, but I’m rich, so I can’t throw nothing back (sic), but watch this. Goon Squad, come here… Throw that shit back at them…”

He then declared: “Show over, man. Those niggas in the building just ruined y’all time (sic). Show over.”

A defiant Wayne then held up his middle finger to the rowdy audience members and promptly exited the stage.

The rapper has yet to comment on the debacle, but he is currently in the middle of his dual Kampus Krash Tour and Kloser 2 U Tour and took to Twitter in the early hours of Monday (24Apr17) to thank fans at a number of colleges and other venues for their support so far.

“Kant forget my other Kampus Krash schools U of Fl (Florida), GA (Georgia) State, West Virginia, Bucknell, Slippery Rock (in Pennsylvania),” he tweeted.

“Louisville (Kentucky), Madison (Wisconsin), Anaheim (California), San Diego, LA …u all were fuckin dope!!!!!! I luv y’all ! God bless ya heart & thk (thank) u all (sic)”.
