‘Ready To Die’ is the first album from Iggy & The Stooges since ‘Raw Power’ in 1973. Iggy Pop had two Stooges, the original with the late Ron Asheton known only as The Stooges and this line-up with James Williamson referred to as Iggy & The Stooges.

The Ashton line-up released ‘The Weirdness’ in 2007. It was the first album for that line-up since ‘Fun House’ in 1970. Ron Asheton died in January, 2009.

Iggy & The Stooges will showcase next week at SXSW in Austin, Texas.

‘Ready To Die’ will be released in April. Listen to ‘Burn’ here:
