Loretta Lynn Moved to a Rehabilitation Facility

The full condition of Loretta Lynn has not been revealed but, based on the fact that she is now in a rehabilitation facility, it appears that there must have been some damage from the stroke she suffered on May 4.

Lynn’s management released a statement saying:

Loretta wants to thank everybody for their prayers love and support. Loretta has been moved from hospital facility in to rehabilitation and we’re happy to report she is doing great.

Lynn postponed a number of shows when she was hospitalized on the advice of her doctors who said she should rest while recovering from the stroke. The first show on her website not marked as “postponed” is June 24 at the Sugar Creek Casino, Hinton, OK.

Loretta, 85, has been on a roll the last year after a 12 years period with no new releases after 2004’s Van Leer Rose. In March of last year, she put out Full Circle followed by the holiday album White Christmas Blue in October and, on August 18, will release Wouldn’t It Be Great.
