Madder Lake To Perform Stillpoint At The Flying Saucer Club

Madder Lake will perform their iconic ‘Stillpoint’ album at the Flying Saucer Club.

Madder Lake’s ‘Goodbye Lollipop’ single was Mushroom Records first release. Madder Lake also feature on Mushroom’s first album, the 3 disc live album from the Sunbury Festival.

‘Stillpoint’ came along in Mushroom’s first year. The ‘Goodbye Lollipop’ single was released in February 1973. ‘Stillpoint’ was out in August, 1973. It peaked at no 13.

Madder Lake would only release two albums with ‘Butterfly Farm’ following in 1974 before the band broke up. Singer Mick Fettes retired from the band in 2011. He died in 2016. A third Madder Lake album ‘World’ (without Fettes) was released in September 2013.

Madder Lake will perform ‘Stillpoint’ 26 August 2017 at the Flying Saucer Club in Melbourne.
