Mark Ronson will headline its Our House stage, alongside Canadian turntablist and founder of Fool’s Gold Records A-Trak.

The legendary international duo are teaming up to debut an exclusive set on Sunday 23rd August at V Festival in Chelmsford, Essex ‘ topping off an amazing weekend of music.

For music-lovers who can’t be there in person, the DJs’ performance will be exclusively live-streamed from the festival on Virgin Media’s YouTube channel. Four cameras will be capturing every cut, scratch and mash-up with the live stream powered onsite at V Festival by Virgin Media’s ultrafast fibre broadband.

Our House, inspired by the old school block party, also features pioneering drum ‘n’ bass DJ Goldie and MC GQ dropping a once-in-a-lifetime hip-hop set, and a whole host of V Festival exclusives, including: the most important artist in Grime right now, Skepta [Boy Better Know]; Stone’s Throw boss Peanut Butter Wolf in tandem with Breakbeat Lou [the man behind the Ultimate Breaks & Beats series]; three x DMC world Champion Craze; and East-London collective Work It with Siobhan Bell, and finally DJ A Skillz closing the line-up.

As the Essex crowd will be treated to Mark Ronson and A-Trak, the Our House stage at V Festival Staffordshire will feature an exclusive headline DJ set from Jungle on the Sunday night.

Mark Ronson says: ‘I became a DJ because I fell in love with hip-hop, while growing up in New York and listening to all the legendary NY DJ’s, like Red Alert, Funk Flex & Stretch Armstrong. I wanted to bring a taste of that musical heritage to V Festival this year. I cannot wait to perform on Virgin Media’s Our House stage with my homeboy A-Trak ‘ it’s going to be LIVE!’

The exclusive Our House live-stream event will ensure that everyone can stay connected to the music they love. Almost as if Mark Ronson is playing at their very own house party, all from the comfort of their living room – powered by Virgin Media’s ultrafast fibre broadband, both at the festival and in homes across the UK.

Virgin Media also provides free WiFi across both V Festival sites so fans can stay in touch with friends at the festival or family at home, plus mobile recharge points to keep devices powered up at all times. Virgin Media Angels will also be across the sites, providing a helping hand ‘ from directions to the stages to helping with luggage.
