Megadeth To Tour Australia In October

Soundwave 2013’s “Missing Link” Megadeth will return to Australia in October.

Dates are set for Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth with support from special guests Children of Bodom.

The Megadeth tour will coincide with the release of the band’s next album due in October. Just two months out Dave Mustaine is still keeping the title underwraps. “There’s a lot of riffing going on in there, that’s for damn sure…I knew from the start that I wanted to go back to my roots and I wanted to make a thrash record,” he told Revolver magazine.

The new album is the 15th studio album for Megadeth and the band’s first with drummer Chris Adler, also of Lamb of God. The album was produced by Mustaine and mixed by Josh Wilbur (Lamb Of God, All That Remains, Killer Be Killed, Hatebreed)

Album Tracklisting

01. Death From Within
02. Fatal Illusion
03. Conquer… Or Die!
04. Lying In State
05. Me Hate You
06. The Emperor’s New Clothes

Megadeth were the missing ‘Big Four’ link on Soundwave 2013 with Metallica, Anthrax and Slayer. Megadeth will tour for Paul Dainty leading to increased speculation that Dainty is the mystery promoter who bailed out Soundwave.

October 19, Melbourne, Festival Hall
October 21, Brisbane, Eatons Hill Hotel
