AC/DC Open Aussie Tour In Sydney #SETLIST

by Paul Cashmere on November 5, 2015

in Live,News

The AC/DC ‘Rock Or Bust’ tour is officially open for business in Australia with the band kicking off the tour where it all began 42 years ago … Sydney.

The ‘Rock Or Bust’ tour is a bittersweet event, marking the first time founder Malcolm Young is not with the band. In his place is his nephew Stevie Young. Stevie contributed guitar to the recent AC/DC ‘Rock Or Bust’ album before Malcolm left the band he started due to illness but Malcolm had co-written many of the songs when he was still well enough to work with his brother Angus. Three of those songs ‘Rock Or Bust;, ‘Play Ball’’ and ‘Baptism of Fire’ feature in the show.

‘It’s A Long Way To The Top’ is the one song AC/DC refuse to play. AC/DC last played the classic on December 17, 1979, just two months before Bon Scott died. Angus and Malcolm retired the song as a mark of respect to Bon but where heard performing a piece of ‘It’s A Long Way To The Top’ during rehearsals at ANZ Stadium on Wednesday.
