This year marks 20 years since Shihad third album was released. The self-titled album was dubbed ‘The Fish Album’ by fans because of the cover.

‘The Fish Album’ was recorded in Auckland, New Zealand at York Street Studios with producer and engineer Malcolm Welsford. The track ‘Ghost from the Past’ was released as a single in Australia while another four tracks ‘La La Land’, ‘A Day Away’, ‘Home Again’, and ‘Yr Head Is Like A Rock’ were singles in New Zealand. ‘Home Again’ is one of the Top 30 biggest selling singles in New Zealand of all-time, outselling Crowded House ‘Better Be Home Soon’ in the band’s home country.

‘The Fish Album’ has been reissued on vinyl and is also available as a digital release.
