Ed Sheeran’s record-breaking stint at Number 1 and 2 could be coming to an end on this week’s Official Singles Chart.

The singer-songwriter still leads the way on today’s update with Shape Of You, on course for a sixth week at the summit, but Castle On The Hill has slipped to 3, overtaken by Rag’n’Bone Man’s Human. The song has so far leapt 5 to 2 following the release of his debut album this week.

Meanwhile, Katy Perry is on track to land this week’s highest new entry with her new single Chained To The Rhythm, currently at Number 6. The song follows last year’s Top 40 hit Rise – released for the Olympics – and heads up her upcoming fourth studio album.

New entries and high climbers

Train’s Play That Song looks set for another big climb this week, currently up nine places to 16, while Rag’n’Bone Man’s Skin could be making its Top 40 debut this Friday, zooming 23 places to 28.

Newcomer Anne-Marie, who featured on Clean Bandit’s Number 1 single Rockabye, enters at 33 with her latest track Ciao Adios, and Sia’s Helium – which features on the 50 Shades Darker soundtrack – is new at 39.
