British pop act Olly Murs will head to Australia to perform at the Logie Awards in April.

The TV Week Logie Awards recognise excellence in Australian television.

“We are thrilled to announce the appearance of such an amazing talent”, said TV Week editor Emma Nolan.

Murs was a runner-up in the sixth series of The X Factor in the UK. His debut single ‘Please Don’t Let Me Go’ debuted at number one in England. Olly Murs self-titled album debuted at number two in the UK.

At the ripe old age of 28, Murs has already had his autobiography ‘Happy Days’ published.

Murs current single is ‘Troublemaker’, featuring Flo Rida.
