Pink Takes Down Twitter Troll

Pink clapped back at an online hater who made a jibe about her appearance.

The 38-year-old came across a post from another Twitter user which said: “Wow Pink looks so old that should be named Purple instead (sic).”

And after almost 200 fans jumped to her defence, branding the troll “pathetic” and “a nobody,” the singer decided to take matters into her own hands.

“You must be from la (Los Angeles),” she responded on Wednesday (16May18). “Well, there are a few people left in the world that choose to age naturally. And I’ve earned every f**king minute of my 38 years.”

The What About Us singer then asked the user, whose profile picture displayed a red cartoon fish: “How you lookin though?”

“Cause I never heard of ya til you put my name in your mouth. I shall call you little purple troll,” she added.

However, the Grammy winner wasn’t done there, and assured her 33 million followers that she was totally embracing the ageing process.

“I am of the mindset that it’s a blessing to grow old,” she insisted. “That if your face has lines around your eyes and mouth it means you’ve laughed a lot. I pray I look older in 10 years, cause that will mean I’m alive (call me emoji).”

The So What hitmaker recently graced the cover of People magazine’s The Beautiful Issue alongside her six-year-old daughter Willow and son Jameson, 16 months, whom she shares with husband Carey Hart.

In her cover interview, Pink claimed that she would always stand up to Internet trolls no matter what.

“Constructive criticism is one thing, and I take that all day long. But there needs to be some accountability to all this anonymous keyboard warrioring,” she explained. “Certain things push my button. You would never say that to my face.”
