Prince Palace notice

The Palace nightclub in the Melbourne has placed a sign out front telling Prince fans to go looking elsewhere.

The front of The Palace has been plastered with the message “PUBLIC ENEMY has moved to The Espy in St Kilda. Show has been rescheduled for Thurs. 17th May. Tickets purchased for tonights show are valid for The Espy. Refunds can be obtained via point of purchase …. AND PRINCE IS NOT PERFORMING HERE TONIGHT SORRY!!”.

Prince fans were disappointed at the last minute last night when a “secret unannounced after show” at Crown Casino was cancelled at 9pm while he was performing at Rod Laver Arena.

Prince’s scouts were roaming Melbourne looking for another venue for another of his famous after-shows but at the moment, nothing has been confirmed.

Prince performed an after-show at The Ivy in Sydney after his 2nd Welcome2Australia show and word was a Melbourne one would happen as well.

Tonight’s show at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena is his second show. He then heads to Brisbane and will be back in Melbourne for his last Australian ‘Welcome2Australia’ show on May 30.
