Reg Mombassa of Dog Trumpet has created ‘The Australian Jesus’ for a series of 10 limited edition greeting cards.
The Australian Jesus greeting cards series is a collection of 10 cards with original artwork by Reg Mombassa.
Reg Mombassa is the former lead guitarist and co-founder of Mental As Anything. He and brother Peter O’Doherty are now Dog Trumpet.
Both Reg and Pete are prolific artists. Reg’s works have been exhibited at the Watters Gallery in Darlinghurst in Sydney since 1975. Elton John and Ewan McGregor have purchased his works.
Reg’s limited edition Australian Jesus greeting cards collection sells for $50 at his official website.
Dog Trumpet were one of the recent addition’s to the SXSW music conference in Austin, Texas in March. Pete and Reg will join 41 other Australian acts invited to showcase at the SXSW conference.
