The album, released through Robert Rigby’s Fanfare label, is one of Renee’s best charting albums in her 40-year career.

Renee Geyer’s two highest charting albums are ‘Moving Along’ (1977) ‘Tenderland’ (2003). ‘Moving Along’ featured one of Renee’s greatest hits ‘Stares and Whisper’s’.

Both ‘Moving Along’ and ‘Tenderland’ peaked at no 11 on the Australian chart. Renee’s 1975 album ‘Ready To Deal’ reached 21.

Surprisingly, ‘So Lucky’ (1981) featuring the two Top 40 hits ‘Say I Love You’ (no. 5) and ‘Do You Know What I Mean’ (no. 29) only reached no. 36.

‘Swing’ is Renee’s first Big Band album featuring her interpretation of classics like ‘My Funny Valentine’, ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ and ‘What A Wonderful World’ as well as Big Band remakes of her own hits ‘Say I Love You’ and ‘It’s a Man’s, Man’s World’.

Fanfare Records is the label behind Russell Morris ‘Sharkmouth’, the most successful album ever for the 64-year old Morris.
