Rick Price will take his ‘Heaven Knows’ album in the road and perform the album from start to finish.

‘Heaven Knows’, the debut album for Rick Price, was released in 1992. The album reached no 3 on the ARIA chart and sold over 70,000 copies in Australia making it the 11th biggest selling album of the year.

The album had two Top 10 singles with ‘Not A Day Goes By and ‘Heaven Knows’ and a further Top 40 hit with the cover of ‘Walk Away Renee’.

“What a journey it’s been these past 25 years since the release of my ‘Heaven Knows’ album. I’m excited to announce that I’ll be performing the entire record Cover To Cover on my October/November 2018 tour. Songs transform over a period of time in performance and these early tunes have certainly developed a life of their own. I’m looking forward to revisiting them with you. I hope you’ll join me.”

Sammy Hagar’s New Live Album Features Rai Thistlethwayte of Thirsty Merc

Sammy Hagar has always had a reputation for surrounding himself with powerhouse players, but his upcoming live album, Sammy Hagar & The Best Of All Worlds Band – The Residency (out October 10, 2025 via Big Machine Rock), brings a distinctly Australian twist. On keyboards, vocals and guitar is Rai Thistlethwayte, best known at home for fronting Thirsty Merc and more recently as a member of The Fabulous Caprettos. For Australian fans, the inclusion of Thistlethwayte in Hagar’s latest chapter is a striking reminder of how far the Sydney-born musician’s career has travelled.
