Ricky Martin is heading to Las Vegas for a residency.

Ricky Martin, who has been delighting fans with his music since he was just 12 years old, is now set to follow in the footsteps of stars including Elton John, Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears by performing a series of shows in Sin City.

Ricky made the announcement on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs on Wednesday (November 16).

“I’m going to be in Vegas! I have a residency in Vegas. Yes, yes, yes!” he said. “I’m really happy.”

The Livin’ La Vida Loca star then said “You’re all invited!”, with Ellen going on to explain that each member of the audience would get tickets to go and see Ricky perform in Vegas as well as a two-night stay at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino.

Details of the residency’s location have yet to be revealed, but tickets go on sale on Monday (November 21).

Ricky has been kept busy in recent months with his One World tour supporting his tenth studio album A Quien Quiera Escuchar, released in February 2015.

After kicking things off in Auckland, New Zealand, in April that year, his last concert is scheduled for December 15 in Queretaro City, Mexico.

It was also recently announced that Ricky is set to be one of the headliners at the upcoming Calibash Las Vegas show, one of the premier events for urban Latin music in America.

He will be joined by stars including Don Omar, Wisin, Nicky Jam and Residente as he takes to the stage at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on January 26.

Martin also used The Ellen Show to announce his engagement to Syrian-Swedish artist Jwan Yosef.

Martin told Ellen how nervous he was before he went down on bended knee. “I proposed. I was really nervous, but I got on my knees and I took out the little, not a box, I just had it in a little velvet pouch and instead of saying ‘would you marry me’ I said, ‘I got you something!’ Bad. And then he was like, ‘yes.’ I said, ‘I want to spend my life with you’ and he was like, ‘what is the question?’ ‘Would you marry me?’ That’s it.

“It was very beautiful and then thirty minutes after I said did you said yes. Yes, he said ‘yes’.”

Ricky and his conceptual artist beau have been together officially since January but have known each other for more than a year, meeting after Ricky started to collect Jwan’s work.

Sammy Hagar has always had a reputation for surrounding himself with powerhouse players, but his upcoming live album, Sammy Hagar & The Best Of All Worlds Band – The Residency (out October 10, 2025 via Big Machine Rock), brings a distinctly Australian twist. On keyboards, vocals and guitar is Rai Thistlethwayte, best known at home for fronting Thirsty Merc and more recently as a member of The Fabulous Caprettos. For Australian fans, the inclusion of Thistlethwayte in Hagar’s latest chapter is a striking reminder of how far the Sydney-born musician’s career has travelled.

In 1995, Ugly Kid Joe released Menace To Sobriety, their second full-length album. A heavier, darker, and more muscular outing than their blockbuster debut America’s Least Wanted, Menace was hailed by Kerrang! as “the album of the year.” Yet, in the United States, the record received little to no label support, leaving frontman Whitfield Crane to famously declare that their label was quietly backing away.
