Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Names Shortlist Nominees For 2019

Def Leppard, Radiohead and Roxy Music have made The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2019 shortlist.

The 2019 list will be announced in December and the inductions will take place in New York on 29 March.

First time nominees this year are Def Leppard, Devo, John Prine, Roxy Music, Stevie Nicks, and Todd Rundgren.

Eligibility is based on the artist releasing a commercial recording at least 25 years prior. Fans will have the opportunity to place a vote (is that something Americans ever know how to do) between October 9 and December 9, 2018 at rockhall.com

The Nominees for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019 are:

• John Prine
• Kraftwerk
• LL Cool J
• MC5
• Radiohead
• Rage Against the Machine
• Roxy Music
• Rufus featuring Chaka Khan
• Stevie Nicks
• The Cure
