in News

A poster signed by the members of Midnight Oil is being auctioned to raise funds for the Weston RSPCA.

The auction was created by Songland Records founder and owner Brian ‘Frog’ Harris as part of the annual Songland Records/R.S.P.C.A. Pre-Loved Music and Movie sale which starts this weekend. “I have been saving this poster since working at RCA Records in the early 1980’s and finally got the chance to have it autographed when the band played in Canberra earlier this year,” Brian said in a statement.

All money goes towards the care of the animals at the Weston RSPCA shelter.

The Midnight Oil auction will conclude at 4pm (AEDT) November 10, 2019.

The auction ties in with Songland’s famous instore sale of 1000’s of records, CDs, DVDs and cassette tapes, kindly donated by the general public, that also go towards helping the animals at the RSPCA.”

Details of the poster:
• Midnight Oil Poster
• Circa 1983
• Hand signed by Midnight Oil band members Peter Garrett, Rob Hirst, Jim Moginie, Martin Rotsey and Bones Hillman
• Unframed
• Dimensions – 100cm x 150cm
