Before the interview guitarist/vocalist Brian Aubert and bass player Nikki Monniger sat down with Grammy.com to talk about their influences, mentors and the ‘Neck Of The Woods’ album.

Silversun Pickups formed in the L.A. suburb of Silver Lake back in 2005. Their first EP ‘Pikul’ was released that same year.

In 2009, Silversun Pickups earned a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.
