Stonefield Return With New Music

Stonefield have returned with their first new music in nearly two years in what they describe is really Stonefield v2.0.

The hard rock girlgroup featuring the sisters Amy, Hannah, Sarah and Holly Findlay have been in the studio working on their second album with Kram from Spiderbait.

The first song we get to hear is ‘Golden Dream’.

“The song has a real sense of female strength. It thrives on the energy of a man longing for her to come back to him. It’s a woman’s perspective of the classic masculine band-on-the-road story – reassuring their partner back home that they’ll come back to them. I love that the strength of the female presence is contrasted by the more delicate vocal,” says Amy Findlay.

The yet-to-be named album two is expected later this year.

Stonefield tour dates

June 26, Melbourne, Shadow Electric
July 2, Brisbane, Brightside
July 3, Sydney, GoodGod Small Club
July 4, Albury, SS&A
July 5, Wagga Wagga, Home Tavern
July 10, Adelaide, Cats Rocket Bar
July 11, Perth, Rosemount Hotel
