Suge Knight Released From Hospital

Suge Knight has been released from hospital.

The former music mogul was rushed to hospital on Tuesday night complaining of chest pains, an hour after pleading not guilty to murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run charges.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Kelvin Moody confirms Knight was released and taken into custody on Wednesday.

Knight suffered a panic attack following his not guilty plea, and it had been reported he could be suffering the effects of a potentially fatal blood clot.

He stands accused of driving a truck that hit and killed Terry Carter, 55, on January 29 in the suburb of Compton, California. Cle ‘Bone’ Sloan, 51, was also injured in the incident.

It’s alleged Knight ‘aimed his car’ at nemesis Sloan and accidentally ran over his friend Carter in the process.

However the lawyers for the 49-year-old star, who founded Death Row Records, claim Knight was trying to escape from an attack at the time.

In total he faces four charges; murder, attempted murder, hit-and-run resulting in death and hit-and-run resulting in injury. If convicted he faces life in prison.

Knight has been behind bars numerous times before. He spent nearly five years in prison for badly beating a rival with Tupac Shakur at a Las Vegas hotel in 1996.

He’s also previously been locked up for violating probation and parole, as well as other run-ins with the law regarding violence, theft and drug charges.

Knight founded Death Row Records in 1990 with artists such as Tupac and Snoop Dogg making the music label a success. However, business stagnated after his 1996 arrest and he eventually went bankrupt in 2006.
