Suzi Quatro will take part in the Q&A sessions for three Australian screenings of the SUZiQ documentary by Australian filmmaker’s Liam Firmager and Tait Brady.

Director Firmager and producer Brady worked for four and a half years putting the documentary together. They shot the doco in three continents piecing together 400 pieces of footage with 42 songs and special guests.

“In making the film, it was important to us that we could get to the essence of who Suzi is,” says Firmager. “Getting the distance and objectivity that we required took time, and developing trust was paramount. After all, we were asking Suzi to emotionally expose herself… In the end we filmed with Suzi maybe 7 different times over 4 years, and we kept digging away to go deeper and deeper.”

The cast of the film includes Suzi Quatro, Alice Cooper, Joan Jett, Cherie Currie, Tina Weymouth, Deborah Harry, Henry Winkler, Patti Quatro, Donita Sparkes, Len Tuckey, KT Tunstall, Lita Ford, Clem Burke, Sir Tim Rice and Andy Scott.

Suzi will be in Australia from October for her ‘Its Only Rock N Roll’ tour and will attend the Q&A sessions in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Why Queen’s Quietest Member John Deacon Chose to Become a Recluse Until This Rare Return

For fans of Queen, John Deacon has long been the enigma of the band, a brilliant musician, masterful songwriter, and humble presence behind the scenes. Since the early 1990s, Deacon has shunned the spotlight, retiring quietly after Freddie Mercury’s death in 1991. But now, years later, he has quietly resurfaced, lending his signature alongside bandmates Roger Taylor and Brian May on a charity auction item, signalling, perhaps, that even the most private of souls can still make their mark in unexpected ways.
