Taylor Swift fans affected by a minor stage collapse issue in Brisbane this week have been offered refunds.

Promoter Frontier Touring says about 1% of fans at the sold out show where involved when part of a stage fell. No-one was injured but some fans were inconvenienced and forced to miss part of the show wile they were relocated. Those fans will now be given a refund.

Frontier Touring later issued a statement explaining, “On Saturday night, an issue with staging at Taylor Swift’s Brisbane Suncorp Stadium concert required the relocation of patrons from a small area around the stage for safety reasons,” a statement from the company reads. “This affected less than 1% of the fans in attendance, and they were moved within the venue. Safety of Taylor’s fans is considered paramount, and once all fans’ safety was ensured, the show continued.”

The fallen stage area was less than a metre from the ground.
