Karin Keays, the wife of Masters Apprentices singer Jim Keays, has launched a website to make available Jim’s original artwork to fans worldwide.

As well as being the frontman for Australia’s legendary rock band The Masters Apprentices, Jim Keays was also a renowned painter. Jim died in 2014 leaving dozens of artworks in his private collection that Karin exhibited publically displayed in 2016.

Jim Keays was a true artist in every sense of the word,” Karin says. “A wordsmith, he was best known for crafting lyrics to music, creating songs that became timeless hits – songs that move the spirit of all who hear them. Such a gift would be more than enough for one lifetime but there was more than meets the eye to the man who was my husband and life-partner for over 25 years. Jim was also blessed with an innate talent for drawing and painting delicate watercolours.”

28 items by Jim Keays are now available at the new website. The art of Jim Keays can be found here.
