The Rolling Stones have a new single with an old song and an added singer … Florence Welch. It is part of an upcoming compilation ‘Honk’.

The new (old) Stones song is ‘Wild Horses’, originally released on the 1971 ‘Sticky Fingers’ album. This version was recorded on May 25, 2018, in London during The Stones ‘No Filter’ tour.

The song is a Stones classic. ‘Wild Horses’ was the second single from the Sticky Fingers album, following ‘Brown Sugar’ and proceeding ‘Tumbling Dice’ from the next album ‘Exile on Main Street’.

This was the second time Florence performed with the Stones. In 2012 she sang ‘Gimme Shelter’ with Mick Jagger.

‘Honk’ will be released on 19 April, 2019.
