The band will headline the Future Music Festival and also perform extra shows for Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

The iconic Manchester band released the critically acclaimed classic self-titled album in 1989 but by 1996 had come to an end.

In 2011, Ian Brown, John Squire, Mani and Reni put the band back together. When their comeback tour was announced in the UK, it sold out in 14 minutes.

The Stones Roses will perform:

March 1, Brisbane, Riverstage
March 6, Sydney, Hordern Pavilion
March 7, Melbourne, Festival Hall
