The Whitlams Set National Dates For August September

by Paul Cashmere on July 29, 2016

in Live,News

Tim Freedman will perform national dates with The Whitlams starting August in Newcastle.

“After being Harry Nilsson in theatre-land for a lot of last year I can’t wait to get out there unscripted with the band and have a raucous time in some of our favourite rooms across the country,” said Tim. “The Whitlams started nearly 25 years ago. My partners in crime for the last 17 years – Terepai, Jak and Warwick – are joining me and because we don’t play as much anymore we make sure we have a ball when we do.”

The last album for The Whitlams was ‘Little Cloud’ 10 years ago. Tim Freedman released the solo album ‘Australian Idle’ in 2011.

The Whitlams dates

August 30, 31, September 1, Newcastle, Lizottes
September 2, Sydney, The Metro Theatre
September 3, Brisbane, The Triffid
September 8, Perth, The Rosemount Hotel
September 9 and 10, Adelaide, The Gov
September 16 and 17, Melbourne, The Corner Hotel
September 22, 23, 24, Canberra, The Street Theatre
