British punk legends The Business will be doing their business across Australia from this week.

The Business

The Business formed in London in 1979 and played their first gig in February 1980. By 1981, they were firmly established with the UK Oi! Movement.

The first single from The Business was released in November 1981. ‘Harry May’ spend three months on the UK Indie chart.

The band, while not so much commercially successful, became a big influence on punk bands to follow. Rancid were one of those bands that named The Business as a major influence. The in 1997, Lars Frederiksen from Rancid produced ‘The Truth, The Whole Truth and Nothing But The Truth’ for The Business.
