Jimmy Barnes has returned to work. Jimmy played his first show since his heart surgery at Byron Bay on Sunday. It was his first stage appearance since Mushroom 50 on 26 November. Days later, he was fighting for his life after a bacterial infection spread to his heart.

Jimmy Barnes has revealed that his next tour will be the ‘Hell of a Time’ tour to mark the ‘Flesh and Wood’ album 30th anniversary. The tour will commence in Perth in June.

Jimmy Barnes is home and doing well recovering from his recent heart operation of in the interim Jimmy’s daughter Mahalia has taken over the family business, the band, for Red Hot Summer.

Don Walker released his solo album ‘Lightning in a Clear Blue Sky’ in 2023.

Jimmy Barnes fans are being treated to some rare songs his current shows. ‘Wheels In Motion’ from 1993’s ‘Heat’, ‘Walk On’ from ‘Freight Train Heart’ (1987) and also from ‘Freight Train Heart’, the hit song ‘Waitin’ For The Heartache’ and being heard for the first time in a long time.

Ian Moss has extended the Rivers Run Dry tour into 2024 with dates added through into June.

Cold Chisel’s live album ‘Last Stand’, documenting the end of the first era of Chisel in later 1983, will be expanded into a box set with bonus tracks and the previously separate ‘Barking Spiders Live’ album.
