Michael Timothy Abrahams, a formative figure in British blues rock and the original guitarist of Jethro Tull, died on 19 December 2025. He was 82.

Robin Trower has revealed a new live recording of Too Rolling Stoned, taken from his forthcoming album One Moment In Time: Live In The USA. The album will be released on 30 January via Artone, Provogue. The performance captures Trower in commanding form, revisiting a cornerstone of his catalogue while reaffirming his ongoing relevance as a live artist.

Billy F Gibbons, the unmistakable bearded architect of ZZ Top's blues-rock roar, will kick off 2026 with a fresh run of solo dates across the United States. The tour, under his banner Billy F Gibbons And The BFG Band, will begin 20 January in Napa, California and travel coast-to-coast for six weeks, wrapping up on 28 February in Atlanta.

Following the huge success of his 15-date regional By Request tour, Diesel is keeping the momentum rolling into 2026, adding another 21 shows across Australia. The expanded By Request ‘26 Tour will see the much-loved singer-songwriter and guitarist return to stages from Tasmania to Queensland, finishing with a fitting hometown finale at the Sydney Opera House on 26 April 2026.

Chrysalis Records is set to release a comprehensive 3-CD deluxe edition of Ten Years After's 1969 album Ssssh on October 31, 2025. The reissue marks the 56th anniversary of the album and offers fans an expanded experience with a newly discovered live performance from the Finnish radio archives. Additionally, a 2-LP vinyl edition will be available, featuring a remixed version of the album and the live recording.
