Ian Kenny, frontman for rock sensation Birds Of Toyko, discusses burning it all and starting again with their new EP ‘This Fire’.

Appropriate that Birds Of Tokyo’s first release since their platinum smash self-titled album of 2010 is titled ‘This Fire’, as the renewed band have pledged to burn it down and start again.

We speak to winter-bearded vocalist Ian Kenny about the approach, recording at California’s famed Oceanway studio, producer Dave Cooley pushing him on his lyrics, a new approach to their stage show, small comeback gigs, and more.
